Is this the right Alberta Heli Elopement package for you?
Who is this Alberta Heli Elopement package for and who is NOT for?
It's for:
The adventurous couple who can handle walking through snow in a wedding dress and/or tux.
The busy couple who are excited to be married but don't want the stress of a wedding.
The couple who can handle a reschedule if the weather is really bad.
The couple who understands that standing on the top of a mountain can be extremely cold, but also a life changing experience.
It's not for:
The couple who can't imagine not having their family and all their friend attend- any more than 6 is a wedding not an elopement. However if you want to meet somewhere afterwards for a reception with loved ones, that works for us.
The couple who wants to ensure every detail is perfect. There may be a reschedule, the wind may mess up your hair, it could rain. If these things are going to rattle you, it's not the right fit.
It's not for the couple who wants to keep their photos private. Posting your photos on social media and other places online ensures we can keep offering this experience to others. We've negotiated great prices and in exchange we ask you upfront to use your photos, in a way that can also benefit all the small businesses involved.

Frequently asked questions
Heli Elopement Epic Yet Easy Package Frequently Asked Questions:
Cancellation policy? 7 days cancellation policy. Please cancel with at least 7 days notice in order to get a refund. Please note we do keep $100 of the price to cover the expense of coordinating your wedding and some of the supplies purchased for you.
Are you going to be offering this at another time? Don't count on it and it definitely won't be at this price again.
Can we bring more people? Yes, we can do a second flight for your guests. The first flight is only for the happy couple and the photographer only so other guests will have to have another flight. The additional cost of a second flight is $1699 and there is a weight limit of 800lbs for the weight of all your guests combined & 5 seats maximum. Please know that the time on the mountain starts when we drop off the first load of people (the couple and the photographer), to ensure we get everyone off the mountain by dark.
Can we bring more people to the ceremony part? We kindly ask that you bring only the people that will be going on a flight. This is a small airport terminal and it's a public building, so we won't be decorating or making a fuss. Its a 15 minute legal ceremony and the timing of things are tight to ensure we get the sunset photos and get everyone back in time before dark.
Can we bring our dog? In our experience dogs don't love helicopters, so we're going to pass on allowing dogs for this promotion.
Where will we be landing? We will likely land on Folding Mountain for this one. It's close so it keeps your costs down and you can even hike to it for an anniversary! However weather also has to play a role here- *if the top of the mountain is covered in clouds we will have to go somewhere else!
Will there be snow? Its likely. The snow on the peaks remain here until July some years and comes back mid to late October. There is a chance it will have blown away in a typical mountain windstorm but count on some snow. Please be prepared. High heels or open toe shoes are not a good idea.
What should we bring? PLEASE BRING YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE. Also bring warm clothes that you feel comfortable getting photographed in. Hiking boots under your dress! A beautiful jacket over your wedding dress is a very good idea. You won't like the look of a ski coat in all your photos.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate? Ideally we can reschedule, but of course that may not work out with hair, make up, work schedules and our availability... So you will be given a few options- still get married and save the flight for another time, get a refund, or do a plan b location that doesn't involve a flight but is still epic and refund the flight portion of the package.
Can we bring our own photographer? I mean sure but why would you? Paige is incredible! Also the price remains the same whether or not you switch out the photographer. Simply let us know that you are bringing your own officiant, in the "anything we should know section".
Can we bring our own officiant? Sure you can. However the price won't change. Simply let us know that you are bringing your own officiant, in the "anything we should know section".
* Landings are at the sole discretion of the pilot. Many factors must be assessed before a mountain landing can occur. Clouds, excessive wind, pressure altitude, etc can alter the landing location. If we can't land you on a mountain we will find another beautiful location to enjoy.
